EEG Reading Services
CortiCare is a EEG monitoring company. To compliment our monitoring expertise we have partnered with leading neurophysiologists and epileptologists to support our customers with remote EEG reading capability. Our physician partners are available on-call to provide interpretation of your cEEG studies and Stat EEG interpretations for medical emergencies regardless of time of day (Neonatal, Pediatric, or Adult reading).
Board certified neurophysiologist on-call for Stat EEG reading typically within 90 minutes of a call to CortiCare and verbal preliminary report to attending physician upon review. Written report in 24 hours from completion of the study
Board certified neurophysiologist available for routine EEG reading and report writing. TAT typically within 24 hours of notification.
On-call 'wet' reading by a board certified neurophysiologist of cEEG monitoring or intermittent monitoring. The neurologist will check-in at the start of the study, be on-call during the study, and write the report at the conclusion.
Long Term EEG Reading
Our physicians are available for on-call long-term assignment of a cEEG monitored patient or an intermittent monitored patient. If our R.EEG Tech detects a patient event our neurologist will be available (typically within 30 minutes) to connect on-line to review the patient remotely and contact the attending physician with their findings if warranted. At the conclusion of the study they will write the study report.
Stat On-Call EEG Reading
Our physicians are available on-call for emergency Stat EEG reading and study interpretation typically within 90 minutes of a call to CortiCare. We will connect on-line to review the patient remotely and contact the attending physician with the preliminary findings. At the conclusion of the study the neurophysiologist will write the report.
Routine EEG Reading
Our physicians are available to read your routine EEG studies. Typical turn around time is 24 hours after call to CortiCare (barring extenuating circumstances). Routine EEG studies are available for physician review using the CortiCare Interface Software (IS) or a secure hospital network drive. Details of the connectivity for remote access will depend on the hospital capabilities.
